Original upgrade of the intake pipe for Defender Td5 engines.

Eliminates intake hose collapse (intake hose collapsing during induction and intake) which is a common issue in tuned engines and larger turbochargers. Made from individually laser-cut aluminum cones for a smooth transition from the air flow meter connection to the turbine intake hole.

Induction air is under negative pressure and requires the smoothest transition possible, and this gradual reduction in size acts as a Venturi tube; helping to accelerate air flow to the turbocharger.

Features:

Unlike many copies that use a sharp reduction hose, creating restrictions, each segment is hand-folded and welded, gradually reducing the diameter to create a smooth airflow. Intake air is under negative pressure and requires the smoothest transition possible, and this gradual reduction in size acts as a Venturi tube, helping to speed up air flow to the turbine. Includes a soap dish, machined on a CNC machine, making this part a direct replacement.
