DA3365 - Gearbox Bearing Kit for Land Rover R380 Gearbox Suffix J - Fits Defender, Discovery and Range Rover Classic (Part Number: DA3365)

Full set of gearbox bearings (Gearbox Bearing Kit) designed for the overhaul and rebuild of 5-speed R380 mechanical transmissions with the "J" suffix on Land Rover vehicles.

Before purchasing, make sure to check the serial number on the housing of your gearbox (it usually ends with a letter-suffix)

R380 gearboxes were produced in several modifications (series), where the suffix indicates the generation (for example, suffixes J, K, L). If you have a gearbox with the K suffix, you will need a different kit - DA3366.

This kit DA3365 is developed exclusively for R380 gearboxes with the "J" suffix.

What does this kit include?

• Noise and vibration elimination: Bearings are replaced if the transmission starts to "whine", make noise, or produce rattling in neutral or under load.
• Restoration of shaft geometry: Worn bearings cause radial or axial play in the shafts. This causes gears and synchronizers (FTC5018 or springs FTC4992) to work at the wrong angle, leading to gear slippage, crunching, and accelerated tooth wear.
