IGM500011 - Hi-Low Switch for Transfer Box - Defender 1998-2016 and Discovery TD5 (Part Number: IGM500011)

Position sensor of the transfer case lever (Hi-Low Switch / Diff Lock Switch) Land Rover.

The sensor is responsible for determining the transmission modes: selecting high or low range of gears (High/Low) and/or engaging the inter-axle differential lock (Diff Lock).

The obtained data is transmitted to the engine control unit (ECU), changing the fuel maps for off-road driving, and also displaying indications on the instrument panel. It replaces the previous part number IGM100000 (and IGM100010) and performs a similar role in the LT230 transfer case.
