DA4660 - Defender Steering Wheel Boss by Mountney in Black - Centre Piece with 48 Splines (Part Number: DA4660.G)

The Mountney adapter is designed to install a non-standard steering wheel on a Land Rover Defender with a 48-spline steering shaft.

The black finish is suitable for Mountney steering wheels and compatible models that use the appropriate mounting.

The 48-spline shaft is found on many Defenders from 1993-1998, base versions from 1998-2008, and later vehicles before the steering column design change. Land Rover used different variations of steering shafts even within the same year, so we recommend removing the standard steering wheel and physically counting the splines before ordering.

Not suitable for the late design of the Defender 2015-2016 steering column.
