DA4661 - Defender Steering Wheel Boss by Mountney in Black - Centre Piece with 36 Splines (Part Number: DA4661.G)

Black Mountney adapter for the Defender steering column with 36 splines.

This type of shaft was used on early Defenders, as well as on some vehicles in County and XS trim levels. Due to Land Rover's inconsistent use of steering columns with 36 and 48 splines, it is not recommended to determine the adapter based solely on the year of manufacture.

Before ordering, remove the standard steering wheel and count the splines on the steering column. For vehicles with a 48-spline shaft, DA4660 is required.
