GL1143 - Twin Battery Tray by Gwyn Lewis for Land Rover Defender 1983-2016 - 3mm Stainless Steel - Will Fit Two Odyssey or Optima Batteries (Part Number: GL1143)

This battery tray fits into the battery box of all Defenders, it is also a universal fit for other applications and will take many different batteries up to 180mm wide & 200mm tall. Made out of 3mm Stainless Steel. Before drilling holes in your battery box floor place the batteries on the tray in the battery box and see if the battery box cover will fit on, with the yellow optima battery’s fitted in the picture the battery tray is fitted as far back as possible, this gives more room for the battery cut out switches on the front of the battery box, if taller batteries are used then the tray needs to be mounted further forward so the lid will fit, I also recommend fitting a rubber mat on top of the batteries encase they short out on the lid.
