ASTU03 - TD5 Boost Box - For Defender 1998-2006 and Discovery 2 1998-2004 (Part Number: ASTU03LASTONEPUTPRICEBACKUP)

For maximum benefit when tuning the TD5, it is beneficial to increase the boost pressure. This cannot be done with the car in standard form as the ECU will sense higher boost and go into limp home mode. Limp mode can be overcome with one of our Boost Boxes, allowing up to 1.35-1.4 bar of boost, which will in turn make the intercooler more efficient. This is only recommended when an uprated intercooler is installed. Wastegate adjustment required to achieve higher boost, instructions supplied.
